Collect and place ALL your assets (Adobe and other product shots, examples of your work, backgrounds,background music, etc.
Start new Premiere project and save asresume.pprojinto the resume folder
Import your assets
Place your video resume clip on the Timeline
Create an opening title
Place opening title onto Track V2 in front of the resume video clip. Have it fade in from black
Make adjustments to your video clip as necessary. These may include:
Opening theMotioncategory in the Effect Controls window and adjusting Position and Scale
Using the crop tool to remove the creases in the green screen (Effects Panel>Video Effects> Transform> Crop).
Using the Sharpen Video Effect set to somewhere between 40 and 50, to sharpen your image
Have your video transition in from the opening title. Use any transition in theVideo Transitionsfolder of the Effects panel.
Add your background to Track V1
Chroma key compositing, or chroma keying, is a special effects/post-production technique for compositing (layering) two images or video streams together based on color hues (chroma range). The chroma keying technique is commonly used in video production and post-production. Green and blue backgrounds are commonly used because they differ most distinctly in hue from most human skin colors. TheUltra Key Effect is a way of quickly and efficiently ‘Green/Blue Screening’ or ‘Chroma Keying’ footage elements shot against a colored background. There are several steps one must follow to successfully use this effect.
Click and drag the Ultra Key from the Effects panel to your video clip in the timeline
Use the eyedropper to key out the green
Change the Ultra Key Setting from Default to Aggressive
If necessary adjust the following to reduce appearance of green screen:
Matte Generation> Increase Pedestal- increase to 100%
Matte Generation> Decrease shadows slightly
Matte Cleanup> Mid Point- increase to 100%
Matte Cleanup- Choke- increase between 50 and 100%
Matte Cleanup- Soften- increase between 0 and 40%
Adjust the Color
Select the Color Workspace
Use either the Basic color correction Auto, or White Blalance eyedropper technique to adjust proper skin tone
OPTIONAL- DO ONLY IF NECESSARY-Reduce background noise from speech audio track in Audition
Right-click on the Audio track within Premiere Pro, and choose Edit Clip in Adobe Audition
Use the Marquee Tool to select an area of background sound in the Audio file
Use keyboard shortcut Shift + P to create a noise sample
Use keyboard shortcut G to deselect the sample
Use keyboard short Control + Shift + P to apply the noise reduction process
Save the file and close Premiere Pro
Open yourresumefolder, take a screen shot of it and save the file.
Windows- Use the snippet tool
Mac use the keyboard shortcut- Command+Shift+4
Select theSubmit Buttonat the top of the page.
Click Choose File button, select your screenshot
Click the Submit Button.
