In photoshop, the model’s neck is elongated, her eyes are moved down in her fore-head and then enlarged, her collar-bone is thinned, and her hair is filled in and enlarged to look thicker. Finally, the photoshop icons disappear to indicate that the editing is finished, and the video backs up to show that the final image of the model is on a billboard on a street. Then the video changes to a blank screen with the words, “No wonder our perception of beauty is distorted.” The next screen says, “Take part in the Dove Real Beauty Workshops for Girls. Visit campaignforrealbeauty.ca” Finally, the screen shows the Dove brand logo, with the words “Dove Self-Esteem Fund.”
