Chapter 8 Instructions and Goals-2

By March 29, students will complete the following:

• Watch the first half of a Chapter 8 video lecture, through how to confidence intervals on means when you don't know the population standard deviation.
• Read the sections of Chapter 8 listed below, through 8.2.  We do not necessarily cover the entire chapter.
• Preview the Chapter 8 Examples and Vocabulary File Download Chapter 8 Examples and Vocabulary File
  • It is recommended that you fill out any vocabulary definitions found in the file as you find them in the text.
  • You do not have to work out the examples in the file.  This is what we will be focusing on in our class meeting on March 29 and April 5.

By April 5, students will complete the following:

• Complete the video lecture and the reading.
• Complete the brief Chapter 8 quiz.
