Optional Revision Requirements and Process

If you would like to revise any of the major writing assignments for the course (except the in-class final exam), complete the following steps and requirements and submit by the revision due date.

• Take the original to the Writing Center for guidance on the revision.  Have your tutor fill out a form as evidence of the appointment, and submit this with the hard copy of the revised essay.
• Highlight the changes that you've made to the new version.
• Write a paragraph explaining what changes you have made.  Add this to the end of the essay and label it "Revision Explanation."
• Submit the new version and the original and rubric by the deadline.
