Week 7 To-Do List and Overview

This week you'll get some feedback on your thesis and "practice paragraph" for the Rhetorical Analysis Essay, and we'll begin developing the Standing Rock Argument Essay.  The finish line is close!

Goals

If we're successful this week, you will:

• Practice and get feedback on a few major elements of the Rhetorical Analysis Essay.
• Brainstorm ideas for the Standing Rock Argument Essay and develop an outline.
• Turn in the Rhetorical Analysis Essay!

Schedule

To reach the goals for this module, you'll need to complete the following activities:

Due dates	Activities
	1.  Review the prompt for the Standing Rock Argument Essay (if you haven't already).
8/2	2.  Brainstorm ideas for the Standing Rock Essay and get feedback on them from me and your classmates.
8/3	3.  Submit your tentative thesis and a draft body paragraph for the Rhetorical Analysis Essay and get feedback from me.
8/4	4.  Complete an outline of the Standing Rock Essay, and get feedback on it from me.
8/7	5.  Turn in the final draft of the Rhetorical Analysis Essay
