Join a Coates Essay Topic Group

Follow the instructions here, and join a Coates Essay Topic Group.  You might want to review the Coates Essay prompt again before you do so.  

Once you have joined a group, you will participate in brainstorming discussions about your topic, you'll have a group meeting with me about your tentative sources for the essay, and you'll share research sources via a group annotated bibliography.
