MLA Citation Style Guide

Here is a link to the Online Writing Lab Links to an external site., put out by Purdue University, which we will use for MLA citation information for this class. 

IMPORTANT!:  Look at all of the resources and watch all of the videos in this MLA citation section to understand how to format your citations properly in this class.

You will use this information to properly cite the research sources that you use in the Coates Essay, and to include a properly formatted Works Cited page with that essay.

The pdf file on the next page is an example of a paper formatted according to MLA style (you already saw this in week 2).  Pay attention to how the Works Cited page looks.  Take a look, and then watch my videos which explain MLA format further.
