Week 5: To-Do List and and Overview
This week we sprint though finishing up Between the World and Me and you finish the Coates Essay. The main event this week is the group meetings in which you'll get feedback and guidance from me on how to complete the Coates Essay.
Goals
If we're successful in this module, you will:
- Submit an outline of the Coates Essay and attend your group's conference about the essay.
- Finish Coates and participate in a discussion of what conclusions we can come to as we finish his book.
- Learn about plagiarism and how to use paraphrase properly to avoid it.
- Review the resources (videos and websites) about how to use MLA format properly in your essay.
- Learn about metacommentary and use it to clarify your ideas in the Coates Essay.
- Submit the final draft of your Coates Essay.
