Finding Your Way Around Canvas (video)

Canvas is the NEW course management system (CMS) being used at SRJC. Canvas will replace the current CATE and Moodle systems after Spring 2017.

Some faculty began using Canvas to deliver courses, provide class materials, collect assignments, post grades, etc. as of Fall 2015. During the transition (Spring 2016-Spring 2017) you may have some courses in Canvas and some in the old online systems. Beginning Fall 2017, all courses will be delivered in Canvas.

You can also visit the Student Help for Canvas page to learn more about how to use the various tools within Canvas. It’s your responsibility to learn the tools or request assistance in a timely manner so that you can complete course requirements.
