Group Set-up

Complete the following steps by Tuesday, 8/30, 10 pm.

1. Join a Rhetorical Analysis Group. Follow the instructions here Links to an external site.to do so (this video goes over some general info about using groups in canvas, so not everything in it is relevant to this course, just fyi).  In this group you will share ideas, and select a shared campaign video to analyze for the Rhetorical Analysis Essay.  You will each write your own essay though.
2. Complete the doodle poll, posted on the "Doodle Poll" page on your group's homepage.  Navigate to your group's homepage (by clicking "visit" in the groups area—the video above covers how to do this).  Then, click "Pages" in the left menu.  The doodle poll will help us determine when we can have group conferences to make decisions about the essay and share ideas.  IMPORTANT!!!: EVEN IF YOU ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR A PORTION OF THE TIMES LISTED IN THE POLL, INDICATE THAT YOU ARE AVAILABLE.  We will find a specific time that works for everyone in our scheduling discussions happening later in week 2.

To receive full credit for this assignment, you must complete both steps by the deadline.  If you complete only one step by the deadline, you will get half-credit (2 points).
